Trading Bitcoins

What you're essentially doing when you buy a Bitcoin for trading is transferring bitcoins from one currency to another, whether that's real world currencies or other cryptocurrencies.

TBitcoins, unlike real world currencies, hold and maintain a level of value that's even across the world. Dollars and Euro's will have more buying buyer, thus having more value, than Yen and Peso's will, but Bitcoins hold a value that's intrinsic and based off of market speculations.

This, the way that it goes is if a Bitcoin is worth a certain amount in Dollars (Let's assume $500), then it'll usually hold a similar value in other currencies that equal out to $500. Thus, Bitcoins can't be used as a medium for buying low in one currency to sell in another and generate income.

How is this achieved, and where do Bitcoins get their value in the first place?

Bitcoins derive their values from the fact that they're bought, sold, and traded like a commodity. Only instead of being created through various different means (Or pulled from the earth), they're created based on the performance of computers that develop them. Not only that but there's also a limited supply of them as well, meaning that the more there are in the market, the harder it will become to obtain them down the line.

Which is why they're often held onto much like other investments.

Of course, this doesn't mean that they can't be exploited in some way. In fact, savvy investors often exploit the shifting markets to purchase bitcoins in one currency, hoping for the currency to change in value so they buy more Bitcoins. By exploiting the constantly shifting relative values of various

currencies, savvy investors can make a tidy sum simply from moving money around these markets, in a process known as arbitrage. But they can lose it just as easily. Especially if they're not careful.

Bitcoin is the most important invention in the history of the world since the internet.
